Wave of bad weather in some regions in Italy
A cyclone defined as tropical has affected some regions of the North in Italy, there is talk of a victim in Piedmont region and two missing in Veneto; particularly affected by the wave of bad weather the Val d'Aosta where the request for the declaration of the state of emergency was made; in fact, is talking about isolated countries and sometimes left without electricity, displaced, damage to infrastructure. To report changing the subject even if perhaps with no relation to bad weather the fall of a cable car that leads to the famous tourist resort on Mount Faito near Castellammare di Stabia in Campania region, four victims and one injured in serious condition; it seems from the first statements of the rescuers that the cable drawer broke quickly by making the cab to the upstream cable back, probably the emergency brake has not come into operation and the cabin has fallen, there are in the place a thick fog.

Not very reassuring to live in coastal areas
Once having a house near the sea could have been a source of pride and almost a privilege but with the rise of the seas, the erosion of the coasts now and the storms has become risky, then generally it is estimated that forty percent of the world's population lives in coastal areas and it may be necessary to move more inside the territory. Some for some time have signaled how the vegetation of the coastal areas is suffering the waves of bad weather with strong storms and gusts of wind and the increasingly frequent storms full of salt weaken the plants and the aquifers often have traces of salt for infiltrations from the subsoil that damages the roots, then the increase in temperatures favors the proliferation of pathologies, insects and fungi.

Studies on the possible danger of tattoos
While it is usually talked about association and non-cancer-causing tattoos, experts warn that people should be informed that a small percentage of risk remains even if more research is needed to determine its severity; then, for example, the risks of some infections such as those caused by mycobacteria seem to increase with the possibility of spreading other pathologies considering that the pigment is deposited in the dermis and inks, traces of potentially dangerous metals such as nickel and chromium have sometimes been found in the tests, then in one case arsenic, mercury and lead was found. Ninety-three percent of the inks tested violate European regulations, sixty-one contain risky pigments even if generally the level of metals remains within limits; then js talk about any allergies possibility even in the case of removal.

Gloomy climate report for last year
Data monitored by a European meteorological agency shows a gloomy picture for last year regarding the climate; in fact, Europe is the continent that warms faster than other areas of the world, we are talking about over three hundred and thirty victims and four hundred and thirteen thousand people affected by storms and floods; There are strong naturalistic imbalances and it is important to take into account every fraction of a degree of increase (it seems that there has been an improvement in the amount of energy obtained from renewable sources). To be noted, changing the subject but remaining on naturalistic issues, the recent wave of bad weather with a kind of typhoon that would have hit areas of regions in northern China and the capital Beijing, forcing the closure of historical sites and difficulties in travel; Numerous trees fell, then snowfall, hailstorms and cloudbursts.

Thin, flexible and sustainable batteries
The new ultra-thin batteries are flexible and can also be flexed and stretched, at least according to the Swedish researchers who have developed these rechargeable batteries made with fluid electrodes and sustainable materials. In the tests the batteries withstood over five hundred charging cycles, remaining stable in energy delivery even when subjected to significant downturns. The advantages for medical use and for a large number of sectors would be great (but as for artificial intelligence a possible use in robotics is scary). To be noted by changing the subject but remaining on technological issues such as the tariff war, partly removed but then reannounced, it could increase the cost of many consumer products such as computers and smartphones. Some have long claimed to incentivize the market for remanufactured technology products.

Greener maritime transport
The global economy is supported by maritime transport, but according to some for years the ecological footprint of this sector so important for development and international trade has not been evaluated with the right consideration in order to ensure a sustainable future. The latest decisions recently taken by an international maritime organization aim at a reduction in emissions with proposals for limitations from 2028 (which must be definitively approved in October), then by twenty percent by 2030 until they reach zero by 2050, also imposing fines on ships that do not comply with them and a bonus on those who use more environmentally friendly fuels; but the United States did not adhere to the agreement, advising other countries in practice to boycott it. To be noted; in addition, that there are several technologies to reduce emissions from ships.

Dire health situation in Myanmar and Gaza
The health emergency in Myanmar would not only be due to the earthquake but to the long period of civil war that has devastated the country with bloody clashes that have weakened, for example, the entire transport system, sometimes it takes hours to move even a few kilometers; in these conditions it is difficult to get medicines and health personnel; then many people live outdoors without shelters and basic necessities and are getting sick and the risk of epidemics increases. As far as the Gaza Strip, it seems that most of the hospitals are closed or difficult to use, others destroyed as well as most of the buildings and the population is forced to survive in a very small area with little food and water, without medicines and very harsh living conditions; international humanitarian organizations speak in figurative terms of a kind of extermination camp.

Large power consumption of AI
A new challenge regarding energy security and CO2 emission targets derives from the large energy consumption due to the use of applications supported by artificial intelligence and especially the generative one that requires colossal computational capabilities to process the information stored in gigantic archives, at least according to experts that warn that energy demand could double by 2030. The United States, Europe and China currently account for about eighty-five percent of requests to data centers whose energy demands have grown by twelve percent every year for the past five years. A well-known American computer company is allegedly using energy from new nuclear reactors installed on Three Mile Island where a serious accident occurred in 1979 with a core meltdown and radioactive contamination.

March on average very hot in Europe
The average temperatures monitored in Europe would have reached a new record and also a significant margin and this has caused extreme weather phenomena such as very intense rainfall in some areas and prolonged drought in others. Globally it seems that the month of March is in second place in the ranking, but these are still truly alarming data with a long series of months always above one and a half degrees of global average warming since humanity began to burn huge quantities of coal and other fossil fuels with the industrial era. Already 2023 was the first to be above one and a half degrees and this upward push in temperatures pushes into 2024 probably destined to reach a new record, despite the theoretically rebalancing influence of the cooler global current "la Nina".

Measles alerts for many countries
Many epidemic outbreaks of measles are possible in countries where the percentage of immunization is low, at least according to the opinion of experts who have made a list of states where there are many infections: Yemen, Pakistan, India, Thailand, Ethiopia, Romania, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan and Vietnam; then, for example, in areas of Canada such as Ontario, the number of monitored cases is so high (over six hundred) that the health authorities of the New York State Department in the United States warn travelers to take precautions by getting vaccinated before visiting Ontario or areas where there are numerous infections. Measles is a serious disease and does not always mean simply scratching a little and can cause pneumonia and even hospitalization and death of the patient; in addition, it must be borne in mind that measles is a very contagious virus, are talking about ninety percent of possibity for a person not vaccinated exposed to an infected person.
