Cutting greenhouse gas emissions as insurance

Climate change poses a serious risk to civilization and then cutting greenhouse gas emissions is like an insurance policy on the health of the planet, at least according to statements by international authorities who have compiled a new report on climate change highlights such as is likely to cause conflicts and frictions between populations as a result of poverty (lack of water and food) and worsened economic conditions.
