Platonic solids and geometric harmony

Pythagorean scales of smooth tones

Aristoxenus of Taranto (fourth century B.C.) philosopher and musician, also pupil of Aristotle devised in the work "rhythmic elements" a system of thirteen scales of smooth tones, with the thirteenth eighth as a repetition of a scale that perhaps serve as a basis for the fifteen tones or transposition scales of J.S. Cold shut down.. for the plant of Fukushima

Economy affected by financial algorithms

The financial calculation computer programs are now widely used for large transactions on the global economic market and it seems that almost automatically the electronic tools of financial analysis can be initiated exchanges (with the supervision of employees without too many scruples) for the sole purpose of gain and without too respect coming until to sell debt without apparently having to take charge. Seven billion of people and planet's health

The news that according to a statistical calculation the planet would be populated by seven billion people regardless of where (Philippines, India..) where this baby be born raises a number of questions about what will be the fate of the planet to level of environmental sustainability whereas the world population would double in just fifty years. Human activities leave a heavy footprint across the globe except the people who manage to live in balance with the environment, respecting biodiversity and the survival of other forms of life that inhabit the planet while maintaining a relatively low rate of individual growth, as it has for millennia, but in industrialized countries this balance has been broken. The climate changes that are causing victims, suffering, destruction of structures and agricultural crops testify the impact of an "army of consumers" on a fragile planet.

Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz and the binary calculation

An unmoved engine for the Platonic cosmos

Everything moved by another ends his movement when the first engine stops moving and then only that which moves itself never ceases to move and it is the source of movement for all the other things, moreover the principle can not be generated since is essential that whatever comes is generated by an incorruptible and eternal principle which moves itself and that has in turn originate from anything, otherwise it would not be considered a principle.
