Identified a structure protein of influenza viruses
A flu virus is transmitted through a protein structure that allows infected with the viral genome to the nucleus of the cells infected individuals, then this influenza nucleoprotein is responsible for replication and transcription of the virus genome, and researchers studying this protein have developed a medicine that blocks the "mechanism" of infection in the nucleus (by aggregating the component nuclein to the nucleoprotein). This new medicine could be useful to prevent influence particularly virulent that can spread quickly, but such shifting attention to another field of research had expressed some doubts on the studies regarding the pandemic influenza A(H1N1), that really had provided a disproportionate alarm with the purchase of an excessive amount of unused vaccines and medicines stores or sold on sale.
