A hurricane lashes Florida and Georgia

At least three victims (two in Georgia and one in Florida) and a million homes were left without electricity supply due to the hurricane called "Helene" classified as category four and characterized by wind gusts that can reach two hundred and fifty kilometers per hour. New type of activated carbon that captures PFAS

Flooding in Japan's Ishikawa region

Rainfall defined as unprecedented has affected the Ishikawa region of central Japan with consequent flooding and landslides, there is talk of one victim, at least seven missing and tens of thousands of people evacuated.
