Quarantine 19-nCoV in Melbourne, Australia
Due to an outbreak of Indian variant of SARS-CoV-2 (called kappa and defined as much more virulent) a week of quarantine had been decided in Melbourne which with five million inhabitants is the second most populous Australian city and now the authorities would extended it for another week, then apparently vaccinations in the country proceed slowly with only two percent double dose administered and the example of Taiwan and Japan shows how important it is to achieve herd immunity so as not to frustrate efforts to contain the pandemic with measures that at first seemed effective. It should be noted by shifting the attention to Peru which after various controversies over the trend of infections a recount of the victims, over one hundred and eighty thousand, has brought the country to the first place by lethal percentage per capita.
