Increase in sales of e-cigarettes in Vietnam

Statistics regarding the sale of e-cigarettes to thirteen and fifteen-year-old students in Vietnam would show an increase defined as alarming from three and a half percent in 2022 to eight in 2023, then even among adults the trend is for a sharp increase; despite the fact that the country has made progress in reducing the sale of traditional cigarettes. International authorities recommend imposing taxes of at least seventy-five percent on the selling price of cigarettes in order to effectively discourage purchases, then must bear in mind the heavy health damage that can be linked to smoking with costs that fall on health systems that are increasingly short of funding and sometimes in serious difficulty in various countries around the world. It should be noted that recently in Italy there was talk of a case of an electronic cigarette that exploded in the mouth.
