National Dengue outbreak in the Philippines
Compared to last year the cases of Dengue monitored in the Philippines (over one hundred and forty-six thousand) from January to twenty of July would be greater than ninety-eight percent, so the health authorities decided to announce that it is a national outbreak while a campaign has been activated to detect and destroy the breeding grounds of mosquitoes that carry viral infection that causes joint pain, nausea as well as breathing difficulties, bleeding and functional problems to the organs in the most serious cases. We are talking about six hundred and twenty-two victims since there are currently no effective specific treatments available, although keeping bodily fluids under control seems to be an indispensable factor among the various treatments that are practiced in these cases, then also other Southeast Asian countries have seen an increase in Dengue cases. It is worth noting changing the subject but remaining on health issues that continues in Paris the protest of citizens living near the Notre-Dame cathedral, destroyed in April by fire, due to the high levels of lead.
