Tumors treated by the immune system
One of the main factors to which the immune system fails to eliminate the tumor cells derived from the fact that these, unlike viruses and other organic matter, are identified as human cells and therefore not attacked since not have appreciable differences from the healthy ones, but using the "vaccines" that adhere to the surface of the tumor cells can facilitate the action of the immune system that enables it to locate (for example, through a protein of a shellfish for the lymphoma). They are studying different types of vaccines according to the type of cancer to treat and it seems that in some cases are fairly effective, at least compared to other traditional treatment methods (which often have serious side effects).. but they still needed more confirmation before creating illusions or hopes of care as often happened in the past.
