Algae in abundance for the biodiesel
The cultivation to adequate levels of algae would seem to constitute a little help to the growing "hunger" fuels for automotive thanks the high performance of fields that may be hundreds of times higher than the litres of fuel derived to those of a traditional crop of legumes. The algae absorb much carbon dioxide quantity, the waste processing can be used as a good source of protein for animal feed.. to note that with regard to the use for human nutrition indicates the presence of healthy Omega 3 component, and in some eastern countries is normally wide use of algae in the diet (eg. the Porphyra species). Evidently remains the dilemma of the use of a resource so valuable for alimentary purpose or whether it should be burned as fuel, but the growth in oil prices and the environmental situation forces sometimes to irrational choices.
