Tests should be conducted to understand what the differences are regarding infections from variants of monkeypox (mpox); in fact, apparently the researchers say that caution is needed before declaring for example that the Calde 1 variant is associated with a higher mortality rate than Clade 2, then also with regard to the Clade 1b subvariant perhaps it is an evolution that spreads among humans, possibly even more virulent than the zoonosis Clade 1 (now called Clade 1a) which usually affected infected animals and in a more limited way the men in specific communities. In the meantime while some say that mpox will not be a new Covid there is talk of a case identified in Thailand of a new variant, then in Indonesia the level of attention towards the virus has been raised with dozens of laboratories equipped for viral tests.
