Collapse of building workers in Bangladesh
Would be more than three hundred and sixty [28/04] the victims of the collapse of an eight-story building headquarters of five garment factories in the town of Savar near the capital Dhaka, while many teams among firefighters, army and rescue workers trying to retrieve the remains of the many wounded (over a thousand) that have reported how they were forced to return to work despite signs of slowing down by the "multi-store" type building before collapsing. Bangladesh is the second world's largest clothing and working conditions are often prohibitive in buildings constructed without complying with the rules, and it is estimated that about three thousand workers were employed at the time of the collapse that has leveled the block structure so that only the ground floor remained intact. Harrowing scenes of the many people buried under the rubble (some were without limbs) screaming rescuers to be helped.
