Pollution in many Chinese cities
The increasing levels of pollution in China reached negative record with unbreathable air and a kind of persistent fog would be granted not only to Beijing with nine hundred micrograms per cubic meter of particulate matter but also to over thirty cities where the stations have monitored levels of PM2.5 at more than three hundred, whereas the safety threshold is only twenty-five micrograms per cubic meter. According to the weather forecast the situation in Beijing could improve thanks to the winds that should a little clean up the air that like a gray hood surrounds the metropolis of about twenty million inhabitants and more than five million vehicles (with their polluting discharges that are added to those resulting from the use of coal), but would take structural measures to prevent recurrence of the problem which also has profound effects on the health of the population due to poor air quality and resulting high number of hospitalizations.
