Enhance security measures for nuclear plants
The electricity from nuclear plants in France is about seventy-five percent of that produced in the country and the nuclear industry is one of the most technologically advanced with fifty-eight plants, and now the authority for nuclear safety has brought within six months of increase the safety margin in case of natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods as happened in Fukushima. The French reactors would be built in part due to the oil crisis of the 1970s, but the situation seems not much improved since the effect of international tensions, the price of oil is back above share one hundred dollars per barrel and also beyond (with the gasoline in Italy at an altitude of 1.8 euros, consequently also of excise duties), and many attempts have been made in the time to develop energy technologies that could replace the use of oil, perhaps due to the low price still widely used.
