A technology not safe in Fukushima
The incident at the Fukushima nuclear plant raises questions about how it is possible that the very radioactive spent fuel rods in the first phase were apparently stored in a tank without special protection of a thick steel shell and therefore with a high risk of contamination for the environment. The technology used for the system is practically obsolete and, paradoxically, the lack of electricity makes it impossible to activate the cooling pumps (even if is try to reactivate them) and then exposing to extreme radiation the technicians that with various methods shoot water on the damaged reactors, but the level of radiation does not seem to diminish. It awaits the arrival of remote-controlled robot and special pumps to try to avoid a disaster of proportions that some say potentially superior to that of Chernobyl, a dangerous race against the time and the nature.
