International organizations have declared the end of the ten-month global monkeypox (mpox) emergency, a zoonosis that has led to confirmed cases in over a hundred countries; but the area of the world most affected by the virus seems to have been Europe, then there is talk of spread in some African countries where perhaps many infections have occurred under trace without being diagnosed. In July 2022 the multiplication of cases had worried leading to the global emergency with for example consequent vaccinations of the population most at risk. To be noted changing the subject but remaining on healthy issues the provocations advanced by some on the possible use of artificial intelligence to analyze the state of health of individuals connected to facial recognition and other parameters with questions about the reliability of these technologies.
