Floods in Nigeria, Chad and South Sudan

At least thirty people have died and four hundred thousand have been displaced in Nigeria due to the collapse of a dam in the north-east of the country, particularly affected by the city of Maiduguri, flooded for about forty percent with people forced to move with difficulty in partially submerged houses and streets. As far as Chad is talking about weeks of intense rainfall with consequent heavy floods with a death toll that exceeds three hundred and forty people starting from July and one and a half million people affected by torrential rains; instead in South Sudan over seven hundred thousand. Changing the subject but remaining on naturalistic issues, it should be noted that the death toll of typhoon "Yagi" in Thailand has risen to eight and over two hundred in Vietnam, it then seems that climate change favors the formation of typhoons closer to coastal areas.

A hurricane threatens the coast of Louisiana

After affecting southern Louisiana in the U.S. the storm called "Francine" (which formed in the Gulf of Mexico) is now classified as a category one hurricane, the authorities have warned the population of Louisiana of the danger posed by the strong vortex and evacuations have already been ordered for some communities in coastal areas, then it is suggested to get to safety instead of traveling thus blocking the intervention in case of any bad weather of emergency vehicles. It is also expected that it could touch category two and for example in New Orleans sandbags and protections against gusts of wind and heavy rainfall are being prepared. It should be noted changing the subject but remaining on naturalistic issues that in Vietnam the death toll of typhoon "Yagi" has risen to over one hundred and forty, there is talk of some victims also in Thailand.

Difficulties in northern Vietnam hit by typhoon

Fifty-eight people are said to have died and forty are missing in northern Vietnam due to typhoon "Yagi", then there is talk of torrential rainfall with consequent flooding and landslides, a collapsed bridge, uprooted trees, hospitals lashed by the strong vortex damaged and left without electricity supply; Cao Bang province was particularly affected. Inconvenience for the population in the areas affected by the typhoon with damage to agricultural and aquaculture production, often left without drinking water and the possibility of communicating. It should be noted changing the subject but remaining on naturalistic issues that the smoke from the fires that are devouring the forests in the Amazon reaches large cities such as Sao Paulo (among the most polluted cities in the world) and Rio de Janeiro, then the authorities of Argentina and Uruguay have declared that the smoke also reaches their countries.

Torrential rainfall in Morocco

At least eleven people are reported to have died and nine people are missing in southeastern Morocco due to torrential rainfall with prolonged cloudbursts due to exceptional climatic phenomena (extremely unstable tropical air masses), particularly affected by the provinces of Tata, Tiznit and Errachidia; forty houses destroyed and over ninety roads damaged, then interruptions to the supply of electricity, drinking water and communications. To be noted changing the subject but remaining on naturalistic issues other emergencies such as the alarming drought in Poland with the really low level of the long Vistula river, then at least four victims in Vietnam due to the super typhoon "Yagi" which, after hitting the Philippines and China, leaving a trail of destruction in its path now uproots trees, overturns boats, roofs especially in north areas of Vietnam.

A super typhoon lashes China

Two people would be killed, dozens injured and over four hundred thousand people evacuated to the island of Hainan in southern China (where there are popular tourist destinations) due to the super typhoon "Yagi", also called Enteng by the locals, which with wind gusts that exceeded two hundred and forty kilometers per hour was classified as the second most powerful tropical cyclone of the year. There is also talk of torrential rainfall with damage and inconvenience for the population, also affected by the strong vortex the Guangdong; the authorities who had already given instructions for evacuations have also sent rescue. It should be noted changing the subject but remaining on naturalistic issues that a study in Canada would have shown that the industry related to the cutting of trees to obtain timber is the third for CO2 emissions for the country's economy.

Hottest summer ever with extensive damage

The temperatures monitored in the summer months from June to August would be the highest ever (the month of July is practically on par with last year and therefore record-breaking), the great energy accumulated can only cause extensive damage all over the planet and disastrous extreme phenomena, then for example in Europe even rather rare climatic events could become more frequent such as a kind of sudden tornadoes (masses of air that descend rapidly from top to bottom with an effect typical of a strong vortex such as a tornado). To be noted changing the subject the wave of bad weather that affected Italy with a missing person in Piedmont region, two collapsed bridges, flooding with inconvenience in Milan (Lombardy), then a whirlwind in Tuscany and a cloudburst with hail in Bari (Puglia); there is also talk of red alert in Veneto and various less intense alerts in other regions.

A typhoon heads towards China

The tropical storm "Yagi", after lashing the Philippines causing casualties, damage and leaving mounds of mud and debris in the affected areas that the population is still shoveling is heading towards China and has gained strength off Vietnam; now the strong vortex is classified as a typhoon and according to weather forecasts it is heading towards the Chinese island of Hainan (with winds of over one hundred and sixty kilometers per hour and wind gusts that could reach two hundred and twenty) and then enter the Gulf of Tonkin, where it will perhaps weaken slightly. To be noted changing the subject but remaining on naturalistic themes the recent cloudburst that affected Rome, there is talk of damage to the Arch of Constantine with two blocks of travertine collapsed due to a lightning strike that would have hit the metal scaffolding used for the restoration of the well-known valuable monument.

Eco-friendly and economical sailing

An eighteen-day maiden transatlantic voyage from the port of Le Havre in France to Newark in the United States would have been carried out by a cargo ship propelled by sails and apparently the classic navigation with wind thrust and therefore free propulsion is of interest again which allows not to pollute and save on the purchase of hydrocarbons which, for example in the event of a shipwreck, can also become a serious environmental threat. In this case the eighty-one-metre-long thousand-tonne sailing cargo ship was initially propelled by engines before the two gigantic double sails could provide the appropriate thrust. It is estimated that almost three percent of greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere (about one billion tons of carbon dioxide each year) are due to motor navigation.

A tropical storm lashes the Philippines

At least fourteen people have died in areas north of the Philippines due to a tropical storm called "Yagi" characterized by intense rainfall with consequent flooding and landslides, sometimes suspended classes at school and activities in the affected areas; then there is talk of inconvenience for the population as often happens in these cases with many people forced to move partially immersed in water. Warnings of beware of the storm have been issued for much of the more populated Louzon region, including the large city of Manila where all schools and government activities have been suspended. Rescuers intervened with rubber dinghies to help people in distress and numerous evacuations were carried out, maritime navigation was temporarily suspended in some ports, then ship collisions occurred.

Few funds for countries affected by climate crises

The resources made available to developing countries in order to enable them to cope with climate change for which they are minimally responsible and sometimes severely affected by extreme events that were unthinkable until a few years ago are scarce, at least according to a document that should be presented in Baku next month which shows different positions taken by rich countries three months after the COP29 meeting in Azerbaijan (a country with large economic interests linked to the exploitation of fossil fuels) in which an agreement will have to be found. There is talk of trying to bridge the various demands, for example the European Union requires that China, being the world's largest polluter and the second largest economy, contribute to increase the available resources despite being classified among the developing countries.

Damage in Japan from a tropical storm

A typhoon called "Shenshen" weakened to a tropical storm would have caused damage and inconvenience, there is talk of at least six victims, two missing and hundreds of thousands of homes left without electricity supply; the island of Kyushu is particularly affected by the strong vortex with violent gusts of wind, heavy rainfall, warnings for possible landslides and high-speed train runs have been suspended (in some cases also between Tokyo and Osaka in other areas of the country). Is try to identify two other people who are believed to have lost their lives, while as always the researchers focus attention on climate change and its consequences due to a warmer planet that fuels these phenomena. To be noted changing the subject but remaining on naturalistic issues twenty-four victims in western Yemen due to floods.

Calculation of CO2 wildfires emissions in Canada

Only India, China and the United States would have released more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere than the amount of climate-changing gas released by the fires of the boreal forests in Canada last year, at least according to a study that shows that these fires to the detriment of vegetation have reached records well above those monitored in previous years due especially to an increasingly hot and dry climate that favors the advance of fires, with not very comforting forecasts for the coming decades from this point of view; then this type of emissions had not been taken into account by the Paris agreements to prevent global temperatures from rising above one and a half degrees Celsius. Emissions from human activities should be balanced with the ability of forests (and seas) to absorb them, but this goal now does not seem achievable.

A strong typhoon lashes Japan

There would be three victims and one missing in southwest Japan due to the typhoon called "Shanshan" characterized by winds of almost two hundred kilometers per hour with wind gusts that can reach two hundred and fifty. There is also talk of damage with the strong vortex that is still affecting the country after having lashed the coasts, then canceled flights and considerable inconvenience for the population. To be noted changing the subject but remaining on naturalistic issues the danger of spillage of hydrocarbons into the sea in the roadstead of Porticello in the province of Palermo in Italy from the tanks of the sailing ship sunk in recent days, the failure to activate the ship's safety systems (in theory unsinkable) is being investigated; in fact, a large amount of water could have entered from hatches left open despite the presence of a fairly rare extreme phenomenon.

Wave of bad weather in Italy

After affecting the northern regions and in particular Lombardy where there have been for example hailstorms with large grains, the wave of bad weather has moved to the south, there is talk of two missing in the province of Caserta with roads transformed into torrents due to cloudbursts, then cars dragged by mud and some houses evacuated, inconveniences also in several areas of the Campania region. To be noted changing the subject but remaining on naturalistic issues the umpteenth alarm given at a conference in the Tonga islands by international authorities regarding the rise in the level of the Oceans with disastrous consequences for all the islands of the Pacific and with increasing rates of rise that can only bring a strong imbalance to all the ecosystems of the planet, a global disaster as is well known caused by the uncontrolled and uncontrolled use of fossil fuels to power human activities.

Unprecedented fires in Brazil

The authorities of the state of Sao Paolo, which has forty-four million residents and is the most populous in the country, have reportedly declared a state of emergency for forty-five municipalities due to the apparently arson fires; because no lightning strikes have been identified. It is a situation of great discomfort for the population (two people lost their lives trying to put out the fires) and some define it as unprecedented, the acrid and dense smoke does not allow breathing, many flights have been canceled and it is also difficult to reach the capital Brasilia. Fires are advancing rapidly with disastrous consequences favored by climate change and those who deny them must surrender to the evidence. To be noted changing the subject but remaining on naturalistic issues the floods that have affected Sudan, there is talk of dozens of victims even recently.

Monsoon rain floods in Bangladesh

Eighteen people are said to have died in Bangladesh due to floods due to monsoon rains and consequent landslides with almost three hundred thousand people forced to go to emergency shelters, the highway and the railway line between the capital Dhaka and the main port Chittagong are unusable hinder all the activities of this great economic center of the country also due to the difficulties in accessing the flooded districts. In Bangladesh the impact of floods from monsoon rains is becoming increasingly severe due to climate change; particularly affected for example the Cox's Bazaar area where about a million Rohingya from neighboring Myanmar find refuge. Floods are also worth mentioning in India with twenty-four victims again due to monsoon rains (which have long affected the country defined as of unprecedented intensity) and torrential rainfall in the Moluccas with damage and inconvenience for the population.

Forensic investigations influenced by climate change

Entomologists use data that refer to the larval state of insects to understand what the time of a crime is and other typical characteristics related to the type of insects (a body may have been moved from a different place or moved and dragged even in different urban environments), but climate change can affect these detections making their task more difficult. For example it can happen to have very hot days followed by days with stable weather and then bad weather with cloudbursts and this makes everything more complicated for those who have to calculate schedules or compare reference models, then even if the consequences are generally not drastic still have to adapt to the new parameters dictated by climate change. The research should be adapted according to each specific regional climate including all the supporting surveys.

Knowledge to be learned about mpox variants

Tests should be conducted to understand what the differences are regarding infections from variants of monkeypox (mpox); in fact, apparently the researchers say that caution is needed before declaring for example that the Calde 1 variant is associated with a higher mortality rate than Clade 2, then also with regard to the Clade 1b subvariant perhaps it is an evolution that spreads among humans, possibly even more virulent than the zoonosis Clade 1 (now called Clade 1a) which usually affected infected animals and in a more limited way the men in specific communities. In the meantime while some say that mpox will not be a new Covid there is talk of a case identified in Thailand of a new variant, then in Indonesia the level of attention towards the virus has been raised with dozens of laboratories equipped for viral tests.

Pirates in jacket and necktie

By now the traditional image of the pirates organizes in groups from corsairs armed of guns and knives to the cingula have yielded the step to the new predator dressed in jacket and necktie that is annoying the web (bandits that unload entire site and they identify the protection keys, steal the symbols, musics..), even with one name of all security that hides the deceit to before the tacking of click. As an example writing "salutary.eu" on a famous search engine between the entrance connections to the site www.salutistico.it, others do not authorize links appear between which also one to those in order to unload freewares, but that practically they turn out to payment through Dialer. Attention to the pirates, exploratory of the web Internet, sails in sure waters; in fact the Demo of the program "Well-being Body - Mind - Soul" deposited that it enjoys all the copyrights can unload free from my salutary.eu Internet site or salutary.eu compiling the appropriate card of recording (and subsequently with relative password communicated) and I dissociate myself from the use of my software to payment for whichever site different from the mine. To notice unfortunately that also writing "salutistico.it" for the original site, are visualized links truculent or trap. - Lately is disappeared the intere site from some search engines.. (that evidently could use the same criteria of selection).
